Three hundred years ago this continent was truly a hunters' paradise.............
People by a mere handful of Redmen, who took- with bow and arrow - from the vast supply only an insignificant amount of game.
Then the white man came - a few at first- then more.... and more. bringing from beyond the sea the axe the plow, the spade and the wheel.
Across the continent the white men rolled on wheels, hacking ripping , and gouging as they went, building a might nation, but - in their thoughtlessness and ignorence and greed- squandering the riches of their heritage - wasting timber wasting soil, polluting the water: doing all those those things that have brought famine to other once-rich lands.
